At this resume stage, we’re looking for:

Current or former student at a well-regarded university in the US, UK or other English-speaking nation

High scores at a secondary school level (including SATs, GCSEs, iGCSEs, the IB)

Professional work experience or academic background that evidences a strong grasp of advanced creative or professional writing & speaking

Extracurriculars, volunteering or other activities that indicate skills in leadership and communication

Eligibility to work in the US or UK as a self-employed contracted worker

Please note, we do not ask for or expect TEFL or TOEFL experiences, given the linguistic proficiency of our students. Instead, we prioritize tutors with evidenced track records in academic or professional fields, as our students are often looking for cultural advice alongside their linguistic development.
